Thomas D. Cox Jr, is the Founder and CEO of Gracepoint Homes. Cox, a second-generation homebuilder, began his homebuilding career as a customer service representative for nationally recognized Emerald Homes in 1993.

His impressive resume includes the roles of Project Manager in Guadalajara, Mexico; Senior Operations Manager of Emerald’s Phoenix Division; and Division President of Emerald’s Dallas Division. Upon Emerald’s sale, Cox became Houston Division President in the organization, managing the company’s entire Houston portfolio. Cox left the national builder to start Gracepoint Homes in 2006.

Cox has a passion for reinvesting in communities through philanthropy, including The Woodlands Methodist Church, the Tamina Community Center and Angel Reach, among others. Cox serves on the Board of Directors for Arteriovenous Malformation (AVM) and is an outside advisor to Angel Reach Foundation.

Cox is a graduate of Mississippi State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy.

John Bober is a dedicated leader with a heart for service, a passion for building, and a belief that every home should reflect something greater than just bricks and mortar. As Director of Operations at Tom Cox Jr Homes, John oversees day-to-day operations, project execution, and client relationships ensuring each home is built with excellence, transparency, and purpose.

With a strong background in construction management and business leadership, John is known for his ability to bring structure to complex projects while keeping the client’s vision front and center. His role spans across project scheduling, team coordination, and quality control making sure each home is delivered with excellence from the ground up.

Rooted in faith and family, John views homebuilding as more than a profession it’s a calling. He believes that every home should be built with care, intention, and the understanding that it will serve as the foundation for someone’s most meaningful moments.
